The main task in the study of natural cycle subjects is the development of cognitive interest, intellectual and creative abilities of students. A large role in solving this problem is assigned to the system of extracurricular activities. Subject week events expand the scope of study of various disciplines, offer various forms activities, contribute to the personal development of students, their professional self-determination. The subject week presents ample opportunities for awakening the interest of pupils in nature and the problems of its protection. It allows for a comprehensive, integrated development of interest in the subjects of the natural cycle, since many students have a narrow outlook, low educational motivation, limited knowledge about nature, a consumer attitude towards it. Extracurricular work in the subjects of the natural cycle allows you to broaden the horizons of students, increase motivation for learning, and develop Creative skills, give the opportunity to use their knowledge in practice, help adolescents acquire skills effective communication... As a result of extracurricular activities, students can be formed and developed: tolerance, social, cognitive, creative activity, the ability to work in cooperation with others, be responsible for their decisions, sociability: respect for oneself and others; personal and mutual responsibility. The schoolchildren were informed about the beginning of the week by a colorfully designed announcement, in which the action plan was placed.
Principle of the week: each student is an active participant in all the events of the week. He can try himself in different roles and activities.
The week started with open lesson in biology in the 6th grade on the topic "Horsetails and moss". The lesson was given by I.A. Ryabova. Predicted result: the development of conscious motives of learning, prompting to active cognitive activity. The tasks at the end of the lesson aroused a keen interest in the children and everyone was able to evaluate their knowledge in practice, show erudition and ingenuity.
At the beginning of the week, the “Earth in Danger” newspaper competition was announced. Children from 6-9 grades took part in this event with pleasure. The jury declared the following as the winner of this competition:

- II place - 8B,
- III place - 9B.
On Tuesday, the teacher of chemistry Mekhtieva I.V. showed pupils of 5 classes "Chemical experiments".
On Wednesday, a poetry competition about spring was held. Students of grades 5-7 took part in this competition. The poems were different authors, but all were read with feeling, with inspiration. The jury awarded diplomas:

- III place - Fedorova Arina (7а).
On Thursday, 10B grade students invited high school students to the evening “Biochemistry of Love”, where they revealed the biochemical nature of love in a beautiful and romantic, scientific form.
During the week, students in grades 9-11 had conversations in grades 5-7 on the topics: "What is it made of?" ”. Responsible for conversations - teacher of geography Malakhova O.A.
The quiz “I want to know everything!” Was held for students in grades 9-10. It took place in the form of a competition of five teams. The guys had to show their knowledge in the field of geography, biology and chemistry and prove that their team is the strongest. In this quiz, the team of the 9th B grade flashed their erudition. They showed good knowledge of the material, quick reaction, ingenuity. The second place was taken by the team - 10 B class, and the third place - the team 10 A class. Everyone was satisfied.
In general, the week was successful. The set goals have been met. All activities were aimed at increasing the interest of students in learning activities, in knowing life and themselves, as well as developing self-discipline and self-organization. The student could show his imagination, artistry, creativity and knowledge on this subject, and through the game, the children developed an interest in native land and ecological culture.
