Nature Protection is a combination of scientifically substantiated constructive, technological, organizational, socio-economic and legal decisions, and measures aimed at reducing negative impacts, restoration and improvement of the state, and the rational use of natural resources in the process of construction and subsequent operation of pipeline facilities.

There are economic (rational use of natural resources), recreational (creating and preserving natural zones suitable for recreation, tourism and sports), scientific (maintaining samples of natural natural complexes for studying them), socio-economic and legal aspects of environmental protection medium.

The problem of environmental protection is distinguished by the following tasks:

development of scientifically based principles for the choice of design solutions of main gas and oil pipelines, allowing to prevent or minimize negative impacts on natural components;

improvement of technology and technical means for the construction of gas and oil pipelines, taking into account the requirements for the protection of the environment;

improving the reliability of pipelines in order to reduce emergency losses of transported products;

predicting the interaction of natural components and pipelines in the process of their operation;

development of methods for restoring the state of natural components disturbed by laying and operation of gas and oil pipelines; Evaluation of damage to the environment in the construction and operation of main gas and oil pipelines.

Ecology is a science on the relations of plant and animal organisms and the communities formed by them and with the environment. The most important concepts of ecology are biosphere, ecosystem, biogeocenosis, biocenosis, biotop, etc.

Production activities, including oil-related oil, gas and gas condensate, gasket of main pipelines, transport and storage, determines the inevitable change in the quality of the environmental environment. In view of this project decisions and technology of building main pipelines, technical means and organizational measures, operation and maintenance of pipelines must be environmentally friendly, i.e., eliminate the possibility of the exit of a particular factor and their aggregate outside the zone of its (their) optimum.

Land legislation is regulated by the procedure for the discharge and use of land, as well as the restoration of their quality upon completion of construction and other works.

Enterprises, organizations and institutions interested in the withdrawal of land plots of non-agricultural needs are required before the start of design work, it is prepedentially agreed with land users and bodies that carry out state control over the use of land, the location of the object and with the dimensions of the area planned to withdraw.

For the construction of industrial enterprises, roads, power lines, main pipelines are provided by land of non-agricultural purposes or unsuitable for agriculture or agricultural land of worst quality. The provision or indicated goals of land from the land of the State Forest Foundation is mainly due to the uncoated area of \u200b\u200bthe area, or the squares engaged in shrub and low-value plantings.

Enterprises, organizations and institutions conducting construction or other work on the temporary use of agricultural lands or forestry provided by him, are obliged to bring these land plots to a state suitable for use in rural, forest or fisheries, and in the manufacture of these works On other lands - to a state suitable for their intended purpose. Bringing land in a suitable condition is carried out during the work, and if it is impossible, no later than the year after the completion of the work.

Enterprises, organizations and institutions conducting work related to the impairment of soil cover are required to remove and store the fertile soil layer in order to use it for land reclamation and improving the fertility of unproductive land. Water legislation establishes the procedure for placing various objects, the implementation of construction and other works on water bodies. The definition of places for the construction of enterprises, structures and other objects affecting the condition of water is agreed with the authorities for the regulation of the use and protection of water, organs that protect fish stocks.

Building, dredging and explosive work, cable laying, pipelines, wood cutting and other works in water bodies or in coastal areas of water bodies affecting the condition of water, are made in coordination with the authorities to regulate the use and protection of water.

Construction and explosive work, laying cables, pipelines and other communications, drilling and other work in forests, as well as on the lands of the State Forest Foundation, uncovered forest, not related to the management of forestry and forest use, are made in agreement with the executive committees of local councils Deputies of workers, state bodies of forestry.

The law on the protection of atmospheric air is indicated: when placing, designing, construction and commissioning of new and reconstructed structures, and other facilities, while improving the existing and implementation of new technological processes and equipment, it is necessary to ensure compliance with the standards of harmful effects on atmospheric air.

With the placement, design and construction of pipeline and other transport highways, power lines and communication, measures must be developed and implemented, ensuring the preservation of animal migration paths.
