Own overview of the Ukrainian game Icebreaker. According to him, this is quite an interesting tank, which is also quite efficient. That's just the price scares.

Yesterday I happened to play quite rare (at the frequency of mentioning the Internet) the board game "Icebreaker of the Ukrainian Holding" I "M".

According to the mechanics of the game, this is a classic "kin-dial" with the fulfillment of simple verbal tasks. But the game has some game specifics, which is worth telling.

", Etc.), or the" cabin company "- in these maps just Jokes or an interesting fact, they do not bring points.

The end of the phase comes when one of the players is gaining a predetermined number of victorious glasses. Depending on the number of the selected number, the phase can be or longer, or in short. We played up to 40 points, and the phase took about 30 minutes.

This phase seemed to me much more merry. The point is that the players take turns throw a cube, choosing the character thus about whom will be speaking, pull the map "Imagine that ...", and read the situation, the main character of which is the selected player. Situations are different, for example, "Imagine that<имя игрока> - The commander who has a big battle. How does he behave in this situation? ", And 5 different options for the development of the situation. All participants with the help of voting cards are chosen as, in their opinion, a character would lead themselves.

Calculation of points is interesting: +1 gets the group that eventually turned out to be in voting for the majority (and it does not matter how the character himself answered, a sort of "dixit" on the contrary). If the described character turned out to be among the majority - this group receives a +2 points.

In addition, there is a bonus stage between the first and second phases - the players write on the sheet of the facts that learned about the other participants in the game during this phase, read these facts, the player who was able to remember the most facts, gets bonus glasses. The second phase begins the player with the greatest number of points.

My impressions: We played in the 8th "captains" (so called characters in the game), without an intermediate bonus stage between the 1st and 2nd phases, the game took about one and a half hours. We played at work, the main task was to get acquainted with new employees who recently come to the team (age 22-30 years). I liked the game, a lot of positive emotions, all participants diverged in clearlyalder mood. Thus, the main goal was achieved, which I, as the initiator of this gaming party, of course, is glad. Since the threshold of entry into the game is very low, the game is quite suitable for children, and since it does not require a long development of the rules - for "busy" adults.

Due to the fact that the main goal of the game is to acquaint in the new team, the playability of the "icebreaker", most likely low. At the same time, there are many cards in decks quite a lot and repeat the batch, at least 2-3 times in one team, if, of course, there will be a desire.
