Material description:
I offer physical education instructors and preschool educational institutions summer sports entertainment "Our friends are insects." This material can be used for older preschool children. Held at the sports ground.
Benefits: 2 cones, 2 soft balls, 10 hoops, chalk, cardboard flowers, paper butterflies, 2 buckets, small cubes, cards with numbers, 2 ropes.

The course of entertainment

The playground is decorated with colored flags, balls, posters. Children of the senior and preparatory groups in sports uniforms line up in two columns. Children of other groups and guests are sitting on the benches.
Leading: Hello guys! The long-awaited summer has come. Today we will take a trip to the wonderful world of nature! We will go to the flower meadow, where we will meet the inhabitants of this fabulous place. Do you know how many insects there are on the planet? The number of insect species exceeds the number of species of all other animals combined. Insects in great abundance fill our forests, fields, gardens and even deserts. They are everywhere and everywhere.
Now I invite you to have a fun relay race. But our competition will not be quite ordinary. For a while you will have to play the role of some insects.
Two teams "Grasshoppers" and "Fireflies" participate in our competition. Let's welcome them.
Team "Grasshoppers"

Fireflies Team
Motto: Although our light is weak and we are small,
But we are friendly and therefore strong.
Leading: Today everything is like in real competitions. A jury (presentation) will evaluate your results.
For each winning competition, the team will receive a flag, the team with the most flags wins. Are the teams ready? Let's go on a journey.

1. Relay "Bees"
At a distance of 5 meters from each team, cardboard flowers - "flower glades" are laid out. Children are "bees". The first ones receive children's buckets for collecting "honey". Each flower has small cubes - "honey". On a signal, they run to the first “flower”, take 1 cube, put it in a bucket, “collect honey”, then to the second, then run to the hoop - the “hive” and pour out the cubes and run to the teams passing the bucket.
Leading: I'm a mischievous grasshopper!

2. Relay "Grasshoppers"
The first participants, upon a signal, jump from a place on two legs, the length of the jump is noted, with chalk on the heels, then the next player starts from this place, etc. Whose team will jump next.

3. Relay "Ants"
Each team has a rope that they hold over their shoulder. At the signal, the teams run to the cone, run around and return.

4. Game "Butterflies and Flowers"
(children of the middle group are holding butterflies of different colors, running around the flowers laid on the asphalt, the music stops, they plant the butterfly on a flower of the same color as the butterfly)
Host: Ladybug is a useful bug,
She has a jacket with black peas.
It deals with aphids quickly and deftly,
The ladybug heals plants.

5. Relay "Ladybug"
The host is holding cards with numbers. On the other side of the site, a ladybug is drawn, with numbers on its wings. The presenter raises the card up, the first participants run and stand at the desired number, raise their hand up, the presenter raises the next card ....

Why was the centipede so named? That's right, she doesn't have 2 pairs of legs, but many. This is such a beautiful caterpillar, it can move very quickly.

6. Relay "Centipede"
We must all squat down, take the person sitting in front by the shoulders. Without unhooking, without getting up, go the distance all together. Whose centipede is faster? It is impossible to disengage.
While the judges are summing up the results, teams and fans stand in a common circle and perform a mass dance.

7. Game "Beetle"
All children participate in the game - a child is chosen in advance to represent a bird.
Children, moving freely around the site, sing:
- On the way, a beetle is a beetle, on the way black

They are attractive and amazing, they are hardly noticeable due to their tiny size and they are varied. As in a drop of morning dew the huge sun sparkles and shimmers with all colors, so in any tiny bug, in any nondescript bug the wealth, beauty and endless variety of the vast world of insects is reflected.
