Most of the UFO sightings are associated with the "sixth ocean". The very term "flying" indicates this. But the land on which they land is, as you know, only a quarter of the earth's surface, everything else is water. Studying the cases of UFO sightings, this is often forgotten. However, researchers have evidence that these are quite comfortable underwater.

Three quarters of our planet is occupied by the ocean. These places are less accessible for observation. The route of aircraft and steamers is usually strictly defined and usually passes through a few areas of intensive shipping. Huge expanses of water are rarely visited by ships.

If we examine in detail the reports of the appearance of UFOs, then we find curious facts: in the overwhelming majority of cases they appear from the side of the sea and in the same direction disappear from the field of view of observers. In the 19th century, few people heard anything about these objects on land, but sailors repeatedly met with them on the high seas. Seafarers, psychologically, were always ready to meet all kinds of sea monsters. It happened so often. But UFOs surpassed everything that humanity could create at that time. All the more valuable are the testimonies of the crews of sea-going ships about encounters with UFOs, because in the logbooks all items found near the ship are necessarily recorded. And contacts, in this case, receive documentary evidence.

In the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, there were cases when some unknown objects quickly flew out of the water and disappeared at high speed into the sky. For example, in 1824, The Diary of Andrew Blockham was published, which described a similar phenomenon observed on August 12 of the same year, when Blockham's ship was sailing through the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. “Today, August 12, 1824, at about 3.30 am, the night watch on deck suddenly froze with amazement: everything around was lit up with light. Within ten minutes, half a mile from the ship, three glittering bodies flew out of the water and disappeared into the sky. But the sailors were able to see them: the bodies were in the form of disks 5 times the size of the Moon and were connected to each other by thin glowing rods. Soon, the discs reappeared and, approaching the surface of the water, went under it.

1887 - near Cape Reis (North Atlantic), members of the crew of the English ship Sibirien also observed a luminous disk emerging from the water. He slowly ascended to a height of 16 m and for some time moved against the wind, then stopped, quickly gained altitude and disappeared into the sky. All this phenomenon lasted no more than 5 minutes.

Scientist A. Sanderson from America, who has devoted many years to studying the secrets of the depths of the sea, is the author of a very interesting book called "Invisible Residents". In it, he gave more than 30 examples when unknown objects fell or sank into the water, and also started from the ocean depths.

1966 - military exercises were conducted in the North Atlantic under the code name "Dean Freeze". They took place in difficult ice conditions, so icebreakers were involved. On board one of them was the famous polar explorer Rubens J. Villela. Together with the officer of the watch and the helmsman, he witnessed a fantastic spectacle - the launch of an underwater UFO. The scientist described what he saw: “Suddenly, breaking through an almost three-meter thickness of ice, a silvery spherical body emerged from the depths and disappeared into the sky at great speed. Departures from the water and the disappearance of UFOs in the sky were also observed in 1953 in the Mediterranean Sea, in 1955 near the coast of California, 1956-1957. off the coast of England, in 1967 off the coast of Venezuela, in 1970 in the Black Sea. Soviet sailors have repeatedly witnessed such phenomena. 1965, August - members of the crew of the ship "Raduga" in the Red Sea watched as a fireball with a diameter of 60 m flew out of the water two miles from the ship and hovered at an altitude of 100-150 m above the sea surface, illuminating it. After him a huge column of water rose, which then crashed into the sea with a crash. The ball hung for several minutes and, smoothly picking up speed, flew away.

The members of the crew of the warship "Vasily Kiselev", who in December 1977 were near the island of New Georgia, also became eyewitnesses of the UFO underwater launch. They watched as a round flattened torus-shaped object rose vertically out of the water. Its dimensions were truly amazing - 300–500 m in diameter! There are a number of reports of ship captains and coast guard officers from different countries, which describe cases of falling or landing on the water of some unknown objects. Sometimes several UFOs sank into the water at once. Of particular interest are the cases when unidentified objects first carried out maneuvers over ships and only after that they went under water. 1966, March - eyewitnesses, who were on the Argentine coast of the Gulf of St. George, saw a cigar-shaped metal object about 20 m long. 1969, July - American military transport "Sparrow" followed in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. 1974 November - Dozens of crew members of the Blackburn destroyer in the Indian Ocean observed three round luminous objects. But the most curious encounter with the "underwater" UFO took place in 1972 on the Mediterranean coast near the Italian Savona. There are also known cases when UFOs glided along the surface of the water for some time, and then went to a depth.

1967 - the ship "Naviero" (Argentina), was sailing 120 miles off the coast of Brazil. At 0615 hours, officer Jorge Montoya reported that a strange object had appeared near the ship. An interesting entry was left in their logbook by researchers of the sea depths in Sevastopol. While in a deep-sea bathyscaphe, they observed an unidentified underwater object in the shape of a wheel. The diameter of this structure was striking - the size of a 10-storey building. She stood upright. From the bathyscaphe it was seen how this "wheel" then took a horizontal position and began to rotate, and then left.

A "special" relationship has developed between NGOs and the military of different countries. The year 1960 was especially "fruitful" for meetings with them. In February of this year, an underwater object was discovered in the Caribbean Sea by sonars of the US Navy, which was moving at incredible speed. The crews of the warships were put on alert, the alarm subsided only with the disappearance of the unknown alien. Then two NGOs were discovered in the Gulf of Nuevo off the coast of Argentina. But not always unidentified underwater objects sink to great depths. 1965, January - in one of the bays off the coast of New Zealand, a metal object 30 m long was discovered from a DC-3 aircraft, stationary at a depth of only 10 m.It did not look like a submarine, but because of the shallow water the appearance of a submarine there was simply impossible. The NGO soon disappeared.

1965, September - US aircraft carrier Bunker Hill) was operating as part of a strike group south of the Azores when an NGO was discovered by hydroacoustics. It is quite obvious that all these objects could not be submarines. After all, the maximum speed of modern submarines is 45 knots (70 km / h), and the maximum diving depth is 500 meters. And the immersion time of the most modern bathyscaphe to a depth of 6000 meters is about 3 hours. It is also characteristic that when the NGOs moved behind them, no strips of bubbling or foaming water were observed. This indicates the specific nature of their movement. As for their maneuverability, it defies any explanation.

Today, many parts of the ocean shelf are equipped with a network of modern passive sonars to record the appearance and advance of "enemy" submarines. They also fix the appearance of unidentified underwater objects, but nothing more - the mystery of these objects remains unsolved.

Recently, the sensational results of a submersion of a deep-sea vehicle created in America, which was lowered on steel cables to a depth of 11,000 meters, became known. This unmanned vehicle was equipped with powerful lighting devices and sensitive television systems. For several hours the dive proceeded normally, television equipment and special microphones did not provide any information that could be of scientific interest. And suddenly something happened: on the TV screens in the light of powerful searchlights, silhouettes of strange large bodies began to flicker. The microphones transmitted the frightening sounds of scraping iron and thuds.
We decided to urgently lift the apparatus. When the platform appeared on the surface of the ocean, it turned out that the powerful structures that ensure its rigidity were strongly bent, and the steel cable seemed to be half sawn off - a little more and the unique apparatus could forever remain at the bottom of the deepest place in the ocean. What happened to him there remained a mystery.

All the described cases of people meeting with NGOs give rise to a lot of assumptions and guesses: from regular visits to us by representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations to moving in space and time. But the famous American scientist, explorer of the ocean depths A. Sanderson analyzed numerous archival materials of the US Navy and put forward a particularly interesting and rather plausible hypothesis about the presence of a highly developed underwater civilization on our planet.

Of course, with a strong desire, one could try to explain our “meetings” with UFOs and NGOs by some hitherto unexplored atmospheric or hydrospheric phenomena, but, you must admit, they do not have a pronounced “technogenic connotation”. But the numerous documented observations of unidentified flying and underwater objects cannot be interpreted otherwise than an encounter with bodies created by an incredible mind. But who possesses it and how it threatens humanity is still a mystery ...

NGO (Unidentified Underwater Objects)

The unexplained phenomena observed in the ocean have been known for a long time. There is a lot of documented evidence of glowing red balls or bright beams of light emanating from the depths of the water. The glow of the ocean often accompanies mysterious objects that can hide under the water column or rush from the water into the sky. For example, in 1887 the crew of the Dutch ship "Ginny Air" observed a flying object diving into the sea, and in 1902 in the Gulf of Guinea the British ship "Fort Salisbury" collided with a strange apparatus resembling a cigar, which had a length of 180 m and flashing red lights.

The development of scuba diving and modern technology contributed to the fact that it was possible to obtain video and photographic materials on which the movement of some strange objects was recorded under water.

After World War II, some researchers suggested that these objects could be German submarines. But without diesel fuel, food supplies for the crew, and proper repairs, no submarine will be able to stay in the water for a long time. In addition, the mysterious objects had a submersion depth, speed and maneuverability unusual for even the best submarines.

Over time, the number of NGOs (unidentified underwater objects) has not decreased. They began to appear especially often in the 1950s – 1960s. at the height of the Cold War. American warships have tried to chase them on several occasions. In 1957, American strategic bombers flew over the Arctic Circle and discovered a mysterious steel dome, which after a while disappeared under water. While observing a strange object, anomalies were observed, for example, instruments on many aircraft failed. Unidentified underwater objects were spotted more than once by ships of other countries, but fleeting observations made it impossible to study them.

The Russian submarine Typhoon is one of the most modern, its maximum diving depth reaches 400 m. Mysterious sea objects quickly and without resistance sink to a depth of more than 6000 m!

Only in January 1960 was it possible to take a closer look at the NGO. In the territorial waters of Argentina, two escort ships explored the sea with sonar, with the help of which they managed to find two submarines of enormous size and unusual shape. One boat lay at the bottom, and the second floated around it in circles. The submarine hulls had large spherical wheelhouses. A group of anti-submarine ships was urgently called to the place of detection of the NGO, which dropped many depth charges on strange submarines. But no harm was done to the underwater objects, the submarines only surfaced and began to sail away at great speed. Argentine ships could not catch up with the boats even at the highest speed, so they opened artillery fire on them. The submarines immediately plunged into the sea and disappeared into the depths. Further, the NGO was observed with the help of sonars and saw something incredible: instead of two boats, four were found, and then six.

Argentine authorities blamed NATO, believing that the submarines could belong to the Organization. However, NATO experts assure that they are not involved in this event, they argue that no country in the world, either at that time or at the moment, possesses such technology.

In February and May 1960, similar submarines were seen in the Atlantic, then in the Mediterranean. In 1963, a search and strike group of the 9th US Navy Aircraft Carrier Formation conducted exercises in the area of ​​the island of Puerto Rico, in the southern part of the ill-fated Bermuda Triangle. Anti-submarine ships, including the aircraft carrier Wasp, were practicing their pursuit of submarines, and at a depth of more than 6 km they found a strange object similar to that observed in the waters of Argentina. The military were stunned by their observations, because the mysterious submarine had tremendous speed, which is incredible for modern submarines. The characteristics of the underwater object were clearly much greater than that of any underwater vehicles, so the Navy did not dare to bomb it or use other violent measures. The technical superiority of the device was so great that it developed a speed of more than 150 knots, which is 280 km / h, making vertical zigzag movements, rose to the surface in a couple of minutes, and then just as rapidly began to sink under the water. The mysterious submarine did not sail away or hide its presence, but continued to follow the American ships for four days.

This case is described in many documents, there are reports and reports to the commander of the Atlantic Fleet of the US Navy in Norfolk, many entries in the logbooks of submarines and ships, in the flight logs of aircraft. All of them describe a kind of super-fast submarine vessel, which has one propeller, or an object similar in parameters to it. However, the leadership of the Navy did not comment on this incident in any way.

For the 1960s. Since the height of the Cold War falls, so the Western and American press attributed the appearance of strange underwater objects to the activities of the USSR. Soviet submarines were considered the best in the world, but even they did not manage to achieve the speed and maneuverability that NGOs had. Some types of bathyscaphes can descend to great depths, but at the same time they have no horizontal speed. In addition, to dive to such a depth, even the most advanced bathyscaphes will take hours, otherwise the large pressure drop will simply blow the device away. And unidentified submarines sank to great depths in a few minutes.

In November 1957, oceanographer Jacques Piccard, in the most perfect bathyscaphe of that time, the Trieste, made a deep-sea dive, breaking every conceivable record. The dive took place in the Mariana Trench near the island of Guam, a place that is considered the deepest in the world's oceans. Here is an excerpt from his diary: “10.57. The depth is 700 fathoms (about one and a half kilometers). We do not turn on the outside light, we save it for great depths ... A rather large disk-shaped object with numerous luminous points was noticed ... "

Some researchers suggest that these could be windows that were located along the perimeter of the disk. They believe that the meeting was not accidental. Underwater inhabitants deliberately showed themselves at such an impressive depth to demonstrate their perfect technology.

In the second half of the 1960s. a record number of reports of meetings with NGOs began to appear. They were most noticed off the coast of Australia and in the Atlantic. Here is a small chronology of the emergence of NGOs.

On January 12, 1965, North of Helensville, New Zealand pilot Bruce Katie from a DC-3 plane noticed a mysterious metal structure, which was under water at a depth of 10 m. In April 1965, in Australia, near Melbourne, local fishermen saw two mysterious submarines surfaced at a distance of about a hundred meters from each other. This time they were observed in shallow water near Brisbane, where there are many underwater rocks, so not a single ship sails to these places.

In September 1965, south of the Azores, the crew of the American aircraft carrier Bunker Hill, which is part of the search and strike group, observed a strange object that was moving under water at a speed of more than 300 km / h. An order was received to destroy the unidentified object, for which attack aircraft were raised from the deck of the aircraft carrier. As soon as they approached the object, it flew out of the water at high speed and disappeared from the planes.

The US Navy considers NGOs to be the most sinister weapon. Mysterious submarines have always been stumbled upon by accident. They cannot be detected with the help of radars, and their high speed will allow them to get away from any pursuit.

At the end of July 1967, near the Brazilian coast, the crew of the Argentine ship "Navier" observed a mysterious object that appeared about 15 meters from the starboard side of the ship. On the night of early October 1967 in Shag Harbor Bay, near the Nova Scotia Peninsula, the Nickerson crew twice witnessed the flight of several objects that gave off aurora. Work on the search for the submarine had just begun when two shining discs soared up from under the water, which quickly disappeared from sight. In 1972, naval maneuvers with the participation of icebreakers were carried out in the North Atlantic amid ice, one of which was attended by the famous researcher Dr. Rubens J. Villela. He and the icebreaker teams watched a silvery spherical object that easily broke through 3 m thick ice and soared from under the water into the sky at high speed. In the early 1970s. strange submarines began to appear off the coast of the Scandinavian Peninsula. There have been several reports of enemy submarines spotted by helicopters and aircraft near Stockholm.

In the fall of 1972, a mysterious underwater object was again seen in the Sognefjord, which they began to fire with depth charges in the hope that it would rise to the surface. After analyzing the reports received about the appearance of NGOs, the Swedish and Norwegian naval command in 1976 established minefields in those places, but the mines mysteriously disappeared.

In mid-November 1975, a strange object was observed near Marseille. Seventeen eyewitnesses witnessed how at 4 o'clock in the afternoon a silver disk, 10 m in diameter, soared up from the Mediterranean Sea. In July 1978, in the Gulf of Guayaquil off the coast of Ecuador, the crew of the Soviet motor ship "Novokuznetsk" observed four stripes of light that appeared near the bow of the ship. The stripes were 20 m long. Then, on the starboard side, more stripes appeared, the length of which was 10 m. After that, at a distance of 100 m from the ship, a flattened white ball appeared from the water, the size of which coincided with a soccer ball. He climbed up, circled the ship, for a few seconds hung over the ship at an altitude of 20 m, then took off even higher and zigzagged again under the water.

In the 1980s. newspaper articles about unidentified objects began to appear almost monthly. Many countries at that time considered the USSR to be involved in the emergence of unknown submarines. However, Soviet sailors also had to deal with mysterious phantom boats and scuba divers more than once. Especially often, air defense systems detected the submersion of an NGO on the high-mountainous lake Sarez in the Pamirs.

In the 1980s. NGOs were especially common in the northern seas belonging to the USSR. After collecting and analyzing reports of the observation of strange objects, ufologists found that in the period from 1980 to 1981. The NGO was observed by residents of the Kola Peninsula approximately 36 times.

At the end of 1982, a naval exercise was held in the Crimea, during which an unknown aerial object was noticed over Balaklava, which did not respond to callsigns. Witnesses observed the object, which had a very sharp nose, and the back part sparkled as if it had been broken. He flew at the height of a helicopter. Interceptor fighters were sent to arrest him, but the object disappeared under water as soon as they approached him. Warships were looking for an unidentified object, but nothing was found.

In the order of the commander-in-chief of the ground forces from 1982, there is a list of deep-water lakes located in the territory of the former USSR, in the waters of which strange balls, disks, and luminous objects were observed rising or sinking.

In the summer of 1982, an incident occurred, which became one of the reasons for the preparation of this order. In the western part of Lake Baikal, combat training dives were carried out, during which scout divers at a depth of about 50 m several times observed strange swimmers, whose height was about 3 m. They were wearing tight-fitting silver suits, spherical helmets on their heads, but at the same time, there was no underwater equipment. They moved at a speed unattainable for a human being, it was as if they were observing Soviet scuba divers. Reports of giant swimmers reached the command, and seven scuba divers, led by an officer, were ordered to stop the intruders. They wanted to throw a net at one of the mysterious swimmers, but at that moment, as if some powerful impulse pushed the divers to the surface of the lake. As a result of a sharp drop in pressure, three scuba divers were killed, and the rest were left disabled.

Mysterious swimmers, sometimes accompanying NGOs, are found not only in the oceans and seas, but also in inland waters. So, they can often be seen in the Great Lakes of America.

The Americans soon realized that the USSR did not actually have enough advanced technology to create such devices, and in an official statement they indicated that the phantom submarines did not belong to the USSR. Despite this, the Swedes and Norwegians continued to insist on the version of the involvement of the Russians.

Relations between the USSR and Sweden deteriorated on this basis, because of this, the governments of both countries decided to create a joint flotilla that would search and sink the mysterious underwater vehicles. After the collapse of the USSR, the governments of the Scandinavian Peninsula countries hoped that now there would be fewer underwater aliens in their waters, or they would remove the secrecy label from the documents confirming the operations of the Soviet army near the shores of Scandinavia. Despite all the hopes, not a single document was found that would say about the involvement of Soviet submarines in the events near the Scandinavian islands. In this regard, the new Russian government once again stated that Russia did not have and does not have any interests in the territorial waters belonging to the Scandinavian countries.

Even after the collapse of the USSR, meetings with unidentified underwater objects continued; in the summer of 1992, a record was achieved in observing them. As a result, the Scandinavian countries were forced to admit that the Russians were really innocent in the current situation. In addition, NGOs continued to amaze with their incredible abilities. There were reports that they literally soar from under the water into the sky, or vice versa, fall from the sky into the water and immediately plunge into it.

Often, the emergence of NGOs is accompanied by a mysterious glow of the ocean, which can also be observed separately. Curly glow, such as fireballs, glowing circles on the water, long streaks of light, are seen much more often than the unidentified submarines themselves.

However, scientists practically do not pay attention to them, believing that such a phenomenon does not require study. Since the public still asks questions about the figured glow, scientists have to give at least some explanation. According to the majority of scientists, the theory of UFOs looks fantastic and mystical, so other theories are put forward, closer to scientific ones.

Oceanologist K. Kalle from Germany put forward a hypothesis that is considered one of the most convincing. In his opinion, the glow of the ocean can be caused by the interference of seismic waves that rise from the depths of the ocean. This causes the smallest organisms in the surface layer of water to emit light. A similar phenomenon, of course, takes place, but it does not at all explain the special nature of the ocean glow, for example, why light mills rotate, or why the glow is so symmetrical. In addition, the glow can be very intense, and organisms are not able to emit such a bright light.

Another problem with this hypothesis is that it does not fit into cases where the source of the curly glow is observed. In 1967, in the Gulf of Thailand, the crews of the Dutch ships "Webberbank" and "Glenfalloch" witnessed several times how giant glowing wheels revolve under the water. They made up to 100 revolutions per minute. Soon, the source of the mysterious light was discovered. Above the surface of the water, there was a slightly convex luminous object with a diameter of 20–30 m.

In early July 1975, an even more amazing event took place in Uzbekistan near the village of Yusufkhona. Four young people were resting on the banks of the Chakvak reservoir, at about three o'clock in the morning they woke up from the fact that they were experiencing unconscious fear. They noticed how an object in the shape of a ball was rising from under the water about 700-800 meters from the shore. It emitted a cold light, similar to the light from a daylight lamp, but the glow was several times more intense. The ball rose higher and higher above the water, and concentric circles of different brightness and thickness began to emanate from it. The luminous ball slowly rose above the surface of the lake. Eyewitnesses describe their feelings as follows: “We watched such an incredible sight in absolute silence for 6-7 minutes and all the time experienced a feeling of animal fear, which constrained movement. This terrible state can be compared to that which a person experiences during earthquakes. "

In the 1970s. already started talking seriously about the "underwater aspect of the UFO problem", he worried both foreign and Soviet specialists. On November 17, 1976, a meeting of the Oceanographic Commission of the USSR Academy of Sciences was held, dedicated to this problem. At the meeting, it was decided to instruct the Department of Underwater Research to collect and analyze "information on the manifestation of UFOs over sea areas and at depths in the hydrosphere of the Earth." The deputy chairman of the department was a retired military colonel, employee of the Central Research Institute "Agat", scientific leader of expeditions on the submarine "Severyanka", candidate of technical sciences V. G. Azhazha, who drew up the "Draft instructions for observing UFOs."

The Soviet Navy also dealt with the UFO problem. By the end of the 1970s. In the archives of the USSR Navy, there were a lot of reports about the observation of unidentified objects in the territorial waters. For some time, the instruction remained unclaimed, until a mysterious event occurred in early October 1977. The floating base of the Northern Fleet "Volga" was at that time in the Barents Sea. On October 7, unidentified luminous disks the size of an airplane began to attack from the air. The attack continued for 18 minutes. The disks flew over the ship at a distance of several tens of meters. While the attack lasted, it was impossible to establish radio communications.

The incident was immediately reported to the command, and on the evening of October 7, Deputy Chief of the Main Staff of the Navy PN Novytsev signed a directive on the implementation of the "Instructions for observing UFOs." However, the instruction was titled "Methodological guidelines for organizing observations of anomalous physical phenomena and their impact on the environment, living organisms and technical means in the navy", because no one dared to talk about UFOs.

The instructions collected data on numerous UFO sightings, indicated shapes characteristic of anomalous objects (“sphere, cylinder, rectangle, discs with one or two convex sides, discs with a dome, the presence of external parts, windows, hatches, division into parts, followed by flight of each unit separately and other features "), as well as their inherent characteristics (" very high speeds and unusual flight paths, hovering, descent, sharp maneuvers, oscillations, rotation, transition from air to water and vice versa "). In the "Methodological instructions" it was said that the information collected about anomalous objects and glow "allows us to believe that this problem deserves serious research."

The submarine "Nautilus" from the famous novel by Jules Verne could reach a speed of 50 knots. Existing only thanks to the imagination of the writer, the submarine still remains the fastest underwater object.

Today V. G. Azhazha is a Doctor of Philosophy and Candidate of Technical Sciences, professor, since 1991 - director of the American-Russian Association for the Study of Air Phenomena, since 1994 - President of the Ufological Association of the CIS. In 1999 Azhazha was elected a full member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He made a presentation on UFOs and providing security from them at the Committee on the Environment of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. In 1972, the "ghost birds" returned. This time they looked like black, unmarked, helicopters circling over the fjords. And in the fall of 1972, the sailors of Norway were sure that one (or several!) NGOs had fallen into their traps.
This took place in the waters of the Sognefjord, in the interior of the country. The Norwegians threw depth charges to knock the submarine to the surface. All of Europe read in the newspapers how they “knocked out” NGOs for several days in a row.
At this time, mysterious "helicopters" appeared out of nowhere. They were circling over the Norwegian Navy, and suddenly all the electronic devices on the Norwegian ships were junk at the same time. And the NGO slipped out of the fiord unnoticed.

The Swedish and Norwegian authorities were convinced that it was the Soviet submarines that were disgraceful in their waters, that the Russians had some unknown but sinister plans.

Supporters of this theory believe that during weak earthquakes, a conical wave is generated at the bottom. The top of such a wave is located exactly at the epicenter of the earthquake. And when the top of the wave reaches the surface, the current near the surface of the water reflects part of this water flow. But by inertia, the wave continues to move - like a pendulum. It is because of this counter-currents movement of water that inexplicable visual effects are obtained. American archaeologist Michael KREMO says:
