The main scientific provisions formulated by the author on the basis of the studies carried out:

  1. Professional risk assessment should be part of Socio-hygienic monitoring and is not opposed to the system of state rationing. Moreover, the risk methodology is an adequate addition of the hygienic classification of labor and can be successfully used in the sanitary and hygienic characteristics of jobs.
  2. Professional risk assessment methodology allows predetermining adequate management decisions to limit risk and optimize the working conditions of workers, develop organizational and technical, medical and preventive measures, to determine the priority of financing improvement activities.
  3. The indicators of the health status of workers obtained through the presented methodology and, above all, the prognostic levels of professional risk are diverged with the data of official statistics of professional pathology. The reasons for this, along with social factors, is the insufficient focus of periodic medical examinations and, as a result, the late detection of professional pathology.
  4. Quantitative assessment of the degree of risk of damage to workers' health from the action of harmful and dangerous factors of the working environment and workload, according to the probability of health disorders, taking into account their severity, may be the basis for determining economic damage from the impact of these factors, as well as the basis for developing a production insurance system risks.
  5. Professional risk assessment methodology is an important additional mechanism and basis for planning and implementing control and supervisory measures and an effective tool for social and hygienic monitoring, coordination of the activities of the service with the executive authorities in the field of labor protection and medical institutions in terms of improving the effectiveness of preliminary and periodic medical inspections.

After the hot and smoky summer of 2010, every St. Petersburg team knows that in the heat you need to drink a lot, sleep well and if possible not to work. It is worth believing the generally accepted advice, Alexander Melzer, D.N., Dean, Dean of the Medical and Preventive Faculty of Szgmu. Mechnikov.

Ice cream

"Dr. Peter" asked the doctor if ice cream could have a lot of sugar, thicken blood and thereby breaking work of cardio-vascular systemwhich is no longer working in the heat with a double strength. Alexander Vitalyevich reassured all the lovers of sweets, that from ice cream and even two nothing happens. But what is really worth fearful - it is frosty products.

The main danger of summer is microbiological pollution of products. Ice cream, which was raised, and then re-frozen, can cause. Therefore, I would warn to buy ice cream from street vendors who keep him in the sun and do not observe the temperature regime, "Alexander Melzer explained.

Dr. Peter.
