Every year at the department increases the qualifications of up to 260 doctors and teachers on topical issues of hematology, industrial and clinical transfusion. Among the student - 36 doctors of science and 79 candidates of science.

Lectures, practical and seminar classes, as well as morning clinical conferences, morphological analysis and clinical and anatomical conferences are held with the involvement of the country's leading specialists on clinical hematology and transfusion. • The study of the mechanisms of oncogenesis leading to malignant transformation of lymphocytes. Work is carried out in conjunction with the Department of Hematology of the Institute of La Sapienza, Italy, Rome.
• Development of new methods of molecular and immunological diagnostics of lymphatic tumors.
